Flying into Redmond

When traveling to central Oregon, are there any tricks to finding cheap airfare into Redmond? It seems tickets into that airport (from just about any U.S. location) are high regardless of the time of year.

Flying into Redmond

Flying into Redmond (or Eugene or Medford) from back east always involves connections. United sometimes has specials from San Francisco, but don%26#39;t know how you could incorporate those specials into a longer flight plan. That%26#39;s why many Eugeneans and Redmond/Bend residents drive up to Portland for their flights. More airline choices and lower fares.

I track fares using yapta.com - it%26#39;s a pretty simple site that can alert you when fares go up or down and recommend best times to buy.

I also pay close attention to fare sales on the Alaska Air website. Sometimes it%26#39;s cheaper to book a leg between RDM and Portland or Seattle directly.

Finally look at traveling mid-week. Flights tend to fill up on Monday, Thursday and Friday but aren%26#39;t as bad on other days.

Hope this helps...

Thanks

there are really good fares there right now, if you are still looking
