Last year we went on Hellgate Excursions, and it was a big group of people and a bit like a disney ride, although the scenery was beautiful. Can anyone recommend a smaller outfit that may give us the chance to see some wildlife and feel more connected to the environment?

Check out either Jerry%26#39;s jet boats or the Mail Boats out of Gold Beach and see the Rogue from the other direction. A lot more time spent on wildlife spotting.

We went down the North Umpqua with Destination Wilderness on a one-day. I believe they also do Rogue River overnights. Small rafts. Great day.
