Sunriver condos

I am planning a trip to Sunriver in August. Is there a suggestion for 1 or 2 of the condominium complexes that are in the best location near activities for a 6-year old and a 3-year old (South Pool?). Or is there a more important criteria that I should be using in picking a condo location.

Also, if I use one of the vacation rental companies like Sunray, what would I be giving up in terms of access to Sunriver activities?

We have never stayed in a condo there, so I can%26#39;t help with those details. We have done houses numerous times and the River Lodge several times. As for location, it depends on your preferences. The south pool area and near the village mall are definitely busier areas. The north end is quieter, but also has a great (although smaller) pool, including a separate kiddie pool. We like the north end best, but that is just a personal preference.

We have rented through Sunray numerous times and you don%26#39;t give anything up by doing that. And actually, their rental policies are better, IMO, and the homes tend to cost less than renting through Sunriver itself.

Every time we%26#39;ve stayed at homes in SunRiver, Sunray and others have provided access cards to all the activities, including the pools.

Thank you both very much for the tips. I am leaning toward a Condo complex like Fairway Village which offers its own pool. It looks like it will be a fun trip.
