Tu Tu Tun under new ownership?

Saw something online about this but couldn%26#39;t confirm it. Has anyone stayed recently and can verify whether true and, if so, what impact this may have had on the experience and quality? thanks.

I Googled and found, on Topix, that there might have been an article about this in the Gold Beach newspaper, but the article was not available on the web.

I had the advantage of knowing the name of Gold Beach%26#39;s weekly newspaper, voyaging ;-)

Darn, foiled again. :)

Thanks for the link half-brit. The article definitely answers some questions about the specifics of the transition. Anyone out there who has actually stayed in recent weeks and can comment on how the lodge was under the new owner? We%26#39;re planning on staying later this year so interested to know. Thanks all.

I%26#39;m staying at the Tu Tu Tun tonight and the room is absolutely gorgeous, not to mention the beautiful setting by the river.

Definitely one of the nicest places i%26#39;ve ever stayed in.

The check-in staff were very nice and friendly too.
