Before we ever moved to Portland, a lady told me that no one calls the NW area, Nob Hill , it was made up for tourist brochures.
And when I lived there, no one who lived in that neighborhood referred to it as Nob Hill.
There have been many conversations about it on these boards.. if you want to put Nob Hill into the search box, you can catch up.
Of course, maybe there are people in other neighborhoods, who might say .... Oh, I%26#39;m off to Nob Hill today ... LOL
