quiet place to stay on Rogue

Can anyone suggest a quiet place to stay on the Rogue. We think that the Galice Resort would be too busy for peace and quiet, but would like to find someplace surrounded by nature and quiet.

Camping is of course the best way to get close to nature, especially in this remote area: fs.fed.us/r6/鈥mnaha.shtml

The Weasku Inn would be a perfect place for you. We have stayed twice here in the river cabins in the back. It is very peaceful and the property is really pretty. www.weaskuinn.com

Enjoy your time in Oregon and let us know what you decide on! :)

The obvious choice to me is Tu Tu Tun Lodge, which is consistently rated one of the best small hotels in the world. But you might not be thinking about that part of the Rogue. http://www.tututun.com/

What%26#39;s your budget for accomodations. Weasku Inn and the Tu Tu Tun Lodge are both very nice, but a little high budget.

We are hoping for a place for 150 or less a night. And we won%26#39;t be on the coast so somewhere in the Merlin Galice area would be great. Next to the river would be wonderful.

This is a bit over $150 but I think what you are looking for. Not familiar with it personally:

This place has river view cottages, not sure of where they are in relation to the lodge. The whole place is not very big. Never been there:

I%26#39;ve given travelbug much the same info. He asked many of the same questions last year, has posted several similar questions separately this year and as sent me (and others?) PMs asking this very question again. I gave him just about all the links everyone now is giving him. Am wondering if we%26#39;re keeping secret our favorite places...which, of course, we%26#39;re not. We%26#39;re just trying to help answer his questions...but we can%26#39;t tell him more than we know...or than we (or he) can find out by Googling.

Thanks, o%26#39;poppa ;-)
