Portland Guided Tours

My wife %26amp; I will be in Portland for a week in late June. The first day, we%26#39;d like to take a guided tour to get the lay of the land. Definitely do not want a big 40+ passenger bus. Are there some good small group city/environ tours?

I haven%26#39;t used them but they were highlighted on the morning show not long ago and I happened to catch the spot. The phone number I have is 503.774.4522. The focus on this day was epicurean tours, but they also offer tours of the shanghai tunnels and ';bizarre'; Portland. I bet they can help you.

Yes, footloose.. we used to see them every weekend, around our neighborhood.. doing the food and wine tours.

I considered taking visitors on a haunted tour but everyone was chicken .. :)

Thanks for the tip. My wife is recovering from foot surgery, so walking may be out. Are there any recommended small group bus/van tours that can get you about?

I ';Googled'; tours of portland, oregon and there were several companies that offer tours of Portland and the area with different emphasis- there are several ';eco'; tours, wine country tours, brewery tours and a Portland Movie tour that I just might check out myself.

Perhaps you could try that and see if you see something that will suit your needs...that movie one sounds fun- they tour the city to different movie locations and show the appropriate clips on their bus.
