When are you coming, what are your interests, what%26#39;s your budget, etc., etc.? Evening Amtrak comes in from the north, so where are you boarding? If you%26#39;re coming fromt the south, you%26#39;re due in at mid-day, but could arrive anytime after that. Why are you coming to Eugene? I%26#39;d like to help. Tell me more.
place to stay car rental eugenewe are arriving amtrak 6 00 pm in eugene and would like to stay close to airport s but need a shuttle to get from amtrak to motel so we can rent a car to tour south oregon for a week crater lake ,etc
hertz has a rental site at amtrak but they are really pricey thanks for your help by the way we are seniors.
There are no hotels/motels close to Eugene airport. You have to take a shuttle or taxi from downtown to the airport. No bus service either.
The train station is right downtown, with lots of hotels/motels close by.
Check out Enterprise, which I believe has a downtown location. However, watch out for Enterprise if you will be taking the car out of Oregon. Most Enterprise rentals are restricted to the state where you make the rental.
