Any restaurant(s) recommendation in or around Cannon Beach?

I checked the Restaurant reviews in TA, but I woould rather get recommendation from the forum! Do you have any good restaurant you recommend in the general area (10 mile radius)? Any style/price will do, as long as you had a very positive experience eating there!

Many thanks

Any restaurant(s) recommendation in or around Cannon Beach?

There are those here who will disagree, but I have eaten at Dooger%26#39;s in Cannon Beach AT LEAST 50 times in the past 25+ years and have NEVER and anything but excellent food and service. I like the fact that beach casual is accepted attire as well. Try the sauted` Wilapa Bay scallops and of course, peanut butter pie for dessert!!!!!!!!!

Great! Will definitely go, thank you so much!

We%26#39;ll probably be eating out 3 times, do you have any others you feel comfortable recommending?

Doogers gets my vote, too. The Lumberyard is also good. I think Dooger%26#39;s still have their %26#39;Happy Hour%26#39; dinners upstairs at a very reasonable price.

Be sure to stop into the Cannon Beach Bakery and try, well, everything is good, lol!

We tried to eat at the Lumberyard (BTW, that really was the location of a lumberyard back in the 1940%26#39;s) one day, but they were so busy and so *very loud*, we left.

The Pig n Pancake is usually consistently good for lunch or breakfast, although we have not eaten at the CB location.

Ahhh Sanibel Island! We stayed there soooo many times when my son was small..I have such great memories of seashell hunts on the beach and fishing off of the pier..(well, that particular pier memory isn%26#39;t that great ) but I really loved Sanibel :)

My list of places in Cannon Beach and nearby that I always recommend (and everyone is sick of hearing about it )

Gower Street Bistro

Ecola Seafood Market for take-out (picnics etc)

Mo%26#39;s for diner style clam chowder %26amp; french fries ( this is when you have the need to increase the salt in your body)

my mind is going blank, cannot remember names..help.

Pizza in CB.. what is the name??? al Feta?

Down 101 in Manzanita..(10-15 mi) is bread and ocean...fabulous breakfast or lunch..

Probably Fultanos.

Been to Sanibel, but mostly to Longboat Key; very nice, in season.

Hi, we were just in Cannon Beach last month. There are several places we enjoyed dining in the area, Bistro, Wayfarer @ the Surfsand Resort, Gower St. Bistro @ the Cannon Beach Hotel, Driftwood Inn and Newman%26#39;s @ 988 are all great. If you%26#39;re looking for the ';wow'; factor, dine at the Stephanie Inn, there are 2 seatings each evening and reservations are essential and need to be guaranteed with a credit card. We also enjoyed our meal at JP%26#39;s in downtown Cannon Beach last month.

If you just want a casual meal, Mo%26#39;s seafood is good and you will will have oceanviews here and Haystack Rock can be seen while you dine. I like the Blackened Salmon here, very good marionberry cobblers and clam chowder, also.

Seaside is just a short 10 minute drive away, if you like Italian food, the Taste of Tuscany is the best in the area. There is also the Bigfoot Pub %26amp; Grub which has a nice varied menu, rustic ambiance and fantastic food, especially if you like Prime Rib and Steaks. Very good BBQ ribs every Sun. night and the Bruschetta here is made really well with lots of crumbled Feta cheese. Enjoy your time on the coast! :)

Gower St. Bistro has been my favorite place in town for several years, and I%26#39;ve been several times to every other place mentioned in this thread, except for Seaside joints. Good food made from fresh, quality ingredients, and it just has a nice feel. But, it kinda depends on what you%26#39;re looking for. Stephanie Inn and Newman%26#39;s are the closest to gourmet, but neither pulls it off very well, in my opinion. Wayfarer has the best seafood menu, outside of maybe Ecola Seafood Restaurant %26amp; Market, Cannon Beach%26#39;s version of fast food.

Since you%26#39;re willing to drive a little, point the car towards Pacific Way Cafe %26amp; Bakery in Gearhart, just north of Seaside, what I would call the quintessential northern Oregon coast restaurant. Family run, nice menu, and everything decently prepared and tasty. Probably my favorite place for razor clams.

Thanks all for the great info, We now have plenty to chose from!

I am also glad that those of you who know Sanibel keep a good memory of it! It is one of these special places relatively few people know about :)

Forgot to add that if you%26#39;re looking for some really great BBQ food, the Riverside BBQ in Seaside is fantastic, the Pulled Pork sammies here are amazing, just look for the little pink building with the large BBQ in the parking lot, the people that own Riverside are very friendly, also! :)
